Bharatiya Janata Party's Harshvardhan Bajpai got a total of 89,191 votes, while Indian National Congress's Anugrah Narain Singh secured 54,166 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Amit grabbed the third spot with 23,388 votes. The top three parties got 51.7%, 31.4% and 13.6% respectively.
