Arya Nagar is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Kanpur Nagar district. Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Arya Nagar was held on February 20 and the result was declared on March 10.
Arya Nagar assembly constituency had 2,79,060 electors in 2017, out of which 1,54,277 were male voters and 1,24,783 females. The None of the Above (NOTA) option got 0.2% votes.

92.8% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Samajwadi Party's Amitabh Bajpai got a total of 70,993 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Salil Vishnoi got 65,270 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate A Hasiv grabbed 6,061 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 48.4%, 44.5% and 4.1% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Bharatiya Janata Party's Salil Vishnoi outperformed Samajwadi Party's Jitendra Bahadur Singh by 15,411 votes.
