Ayah Shah is the assembly constituency which comes under the Fatehpur district. It is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Ayah Shah will be held on February 23 and the result was declared on March 10.
In 2017, the Ayah Shah assembly seat had 2,60,510 registered voters. Of the, 1,42,982 were male and 1,17,528 were female voters. 0.6% of votes were casted for NOTA.

It was a one way contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Vikas Gupta comfortably winning the election defeating Samajwadi Party's Ayodhya Prasad by a huge margin of 51,965 votes.
92.3% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Vikas Gupta grabbed a total of 81,203 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Ayodhya Prasad got 29,238 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Rambahadur bagged 27,365 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 54.4%, 19.6% and 18.3% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Bahujan Samaj Party's Ayodhya Prasad Pal defeated Samajwadi Party's Anand Prakash Lodhi by 11,097 votes.
