Uttar Pradesh Election: Bah Assembly Constituency 2022

Bah is the assembly constituency which comes under the Agra district. It is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Bah was held on February 10 and the result was declared on March 10.

In 2017, the Bah assembly seat had 3,21,283 registered voters. Of the, 1,77,723 were male and 1,43,560 were female voters. 0.7% of votes were casted for NOTA.

What happened last time

In 2017, 14 candidates were contesting for Bah assembly constituency seat. Bah was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Rani Pakshalika Singh won the election by defeating Bahujan Samaj Party's Madhusudan Sharma by a margin of 23,140 votes.

97.0% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Rani Pakshalika Singh grabbed a total of 80,567 votes, while Bahujan Samaj Party's Madhusudan Sharma got 57,427 votes. Samajwadi Party's candidate Hanskali Alias Anshu Rani Nishad bagged 46,885 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 42.3%, 30.1% and 24.6% respectively.

In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Raja Mahendra Aridaman Singh defeated Bahujan Samaj Party's Madhusudan Sharma by 26,471 votes.
