Uttar Pradesh Election: Baheri Assembly Constituency 2022
Baheri is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Bareilly district. Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Baheri was held on February 14 and the results was declared on March 10.
In 2017, the Baheri assembly seat had 3,44,386 registered voters. Of the, 1,87,229 were male and 1,57,157 were female voters. 0.4% of votes were casted for NOTA.
In 2017, 14 candidates were contesting for Baheri assembly constituency seat. Baheri was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Chhatra Pal Singh won the election by defeating Bahujan Samaj Party's Naseem Ahmad by a margin of 42,837 votes.
The top three candidates split 96.9% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Chhatra Pal Singh got a total of 1,08,846 votes, while Bahujan Samaj Party's Naseem Ahmad secured 66,009 votes. Samajwadi Party's candidate Ata Ur Rehman grabbed the third spot with 63,841 votes. The top three parties got 44.2%, 26.8% and 25.9% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Ataurrehman outperformed Bharatiya Janata Party's Chhatra Pal Singh by 18 votes.
