Uttar Pradesh Election: Bangermau Assembly Constituency 2022
Bangermau is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Unnao district. Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Bangermau will be held on February 23 and the result was declared on March 10.
Bangermau assembly constituency had 3,37,870 electors in 2017, out of which 1,85,184 were male voters and 1,52,686 females. The None of the Above (NOTA) option got 0.6% votes.
In 2017, 15 candidates were contesting for Bangermau assembly constituency seat. Bangermau was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Kuldeep Singh Sengar won the election by defeating Samajwadi Party's Badaloo Khan by a margin of 28,327 votes.
95.8% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Kuldeep Singh Sengar grabbed a total of 87,657 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Badaloo Khan got 59,330 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Mohd Irashad Khan bagged 44,730 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 43.8%, 29.6% and 22.3% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Badlu Khan defeated Bahujan Samaj Party's Mohd. Irshad Khan by 6,795 votes.
