Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate Har Govind Singh grabbed the third spot with 67,112 votes. The top three parties got 40.8%, 28.6% and 27.5% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Dharmraj defeated Bahujan Samaj Party's Sangram Singh by 22,770 votes.
