Uttar Pradesh Election: Bhadohi Assembly Constituency 2022

Bhadohi is the assembly constituency which comes under the S.R.Nagar(Bhadohi) district. It is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Bhadohi will be held on March 7 and the result was declared on March 10.

In Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2017, there were 4,15,430 registered voters for Bhadohi assembly seat, out of which 2,27,649 were male and 1,87,781 were female voters. 0.2% of voters opted for for the None of the Above (NOTA) option.

What happened last time

In the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Bhadohi constituency had 23 candidates for assembly seat contention. Bhadohi was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was an extremely close fight, with Bharatiya Janata Party's Ravindra Nath Tripathi winning the election defeating Samajwadi Party's Zahid Beg by a narrow margin of 1,105 votes.

The top three candidates split 89.9% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ravindra Nath Tripathi got a total of 79,519 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Zahid Beg secured 78,414 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Rangnath Mishra grabbed the third spot with 56,555 votes. The top three parties got 33.3%, 32.9% and 23.7% respectively.

In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Jahid Beg beat Bahujan Samaj Party's Ravindranath Tripathi by 16,241 votes.
