Bhatpar Rani is the assembly constituency which comes under the Deoria district. It is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Bhatpar Rani will be held on March 3 and the result was declared on March 10.
Bhatpar Rani assembly constituency had 3,15,701 electors in 2017, out of which 1,73,206 were male voters and 1,42,495 females. The None of the Above (NOTA) option got 0.7% votes.
In the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Bhatpar Rani constituency had 14 candidates for assembly seat contention. Bhatpar Rani was one of 47 seats won by the Samajwadi Party. Samajwadi Party's Ashutosh won the election by upstaging Bharatiya Janata Party's Jaynath Kushwaha Urf Guddan by a margin of 11,097 votes.
87.4% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Samajwadi Party's Ashutosh grabbed a total of 61,862 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Jaynath Kushwaha Urf Guddan got 50,765 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Sabhakunwar bagged 44,161 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 34.5%, 28.3% and 24.6% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Kameshwar outperformed Bahujan Samaj Party's Sabhakunwar by 14,924 votes.
