Bilgram-Mallanwan is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Hardoi district. People of Bilgram-Mallanwan voted for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 on February 23 and the result was declared on March 10.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2017, there were 3,57,736 registered voters for Bilgram-Mallanwan assembly seat, out of which 1,94,718 were male and 1,63,018 were female voters. 0.5% of voters opted for for the None of the Above (NOTA) option.
In the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election, there were 15 candidates in the fray from Bilgram-Mallanwan constituency. Bilgram-Mallanwan was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a close contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Ashish Kumar Singh Ashu winning the election upstaging Samajwadi Party's Subhash Pal by a margin of just 8,025 votes.
The top three candidates split 95.6% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ashish Kumar Singh Ashu got a total of 83,405 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Subhash Pal secured 75,380 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Anurag Mishra grabbed the third spot with 51,502 votes. The top three parties got 37.9%, 34.3% and 23.4% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Bahujan Samaj Party's Brijesh Kumar outperformed Samajwadi Party's Krishna Kumar Singh Alias Satish Verma by 7,328 votes.
