Uttar Pradesh Election: Bindki Assembly Constituency 2022

Bindki comes under the Fatehpur district and it is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . People of Bindki voted for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 on February 23 and the result was declared on March 10.

Bindki assembly constituency had 2,96,978 electors in 2017, out of which 1,62,646 were male voters and 1,34,332 females. The None of the Above (NOTA) option got 0.7% votes.

What happened last time

In 2017, 11 candidates were competing for Bindki assembly constituency seat. Bindki was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a one way contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Karan Singh Patel comfortably winning the election defeating Samajwadi Party's Rameshwar Dayal by a huge margin of 56,378 votes.

94.5% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Karan Singh Patel grabbed a total of 97,996 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Rameshwar Dayal got 41,618 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Sukhdev Prasad Verma bagged 32,297 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 53.9%, 22.9% and 17.8% respectively.

In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Bahujan Samaj Party's Sukhadev Prasad Verma beat Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajendra Singh Patel by 7,962 votes.
