Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Divya Gangwar bagged 45,338 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 46.9%, 28.3% and 20.5% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Bharatiya Janata Party's Agys Ram Saran Verma beat Indian National Congress's Anis Ahmad Khan Alias Phoolbabu by 56,071 votes.
