The top three candidates split 94.9% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ajay Pratap Singh got a total of 82,867 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Yogesh Pratap Singh secured 54,462 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Santosh Kumar Tiwari grabbed the third spot with 33,241 votes. The top three parties got 46.1%, 30.3% and 18.5% respectively.
