Dadri is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Gautam Buddha Nagar district. People of Dadri voted for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 on February 10 and the result was declared on March 10.
Dadri assembly constituency had 4,41,184 electors in 2017, out of which 2,46,184 were male voters and 1,95,000 females. The None of the Above (NOTA) option got 0.4% votes.
In 2017, 14 candidates were competing for Dadri assembly constituency seat. Dadri was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a one way contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Tejpal Singh Nagar comfortably winning the election defeating Bahujan Samaj Party's Satveer Singh Gurjar by a huge margin of 80,177 votes.
91.9% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Tejpal Singh Nagar grabbed a total of 1,41,226 votes, while Bahujan Samaj Party's Satveer Singh Gurjar got 61,049 votes. Indian National Congress's candidate Samir Bhati bagged 39,975 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 53.6%, 23.2% and 15.2% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Bahujan Samaj Party's Satveer Singh Gurjar beat Bharatiya Janata Party's Nawab Singh Nagar by 37,297 votes.
