Gangoh is the assembly constituency which comes under the Saharanpur district. It is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Gangoh was held on February 14 and the result was declared on March 10.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2017, there were 3,57,444 registered voters for Gangoh assembly seat, out of which 1,92,119 were male and 1,65,325 were female voters. 0.3% of voters opted for for the None of the Above (NOTA) option.
In 2017, 10 candidates were contesting for Gangoh assembly constituency seat. Gangoh was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Pradeep Kumar won the election by defeating Indian National Congress's Nauman Masood by a margin of 38,028 votes.
81.2% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Pradeep Kumar grabbed a total of 99,446 votes, while Indian National Congress's Nauman Masood got 61,418 votes. Samajwadi Party's candidate Inder Sain bagged 47,219 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 38.8%, 24.0% and 18.4% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Indian National Congress's Pardeep Kumar beat Samajwadi Party's Ruder Sain by 4,023 votes.
