Haidergarh is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Barabanki district. People of Haidergarh voted for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 on February 27 and the results was declared on March 10.

100.0% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Baijnath Rawat grabbed a total of 97,497 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Ram Magan got 63,977 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Kamala Prasad Rawat bagged 48,600 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 46.4%, 30.5% and 23.1% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Ram Magan outperformed Bahujan Samaj Party's Ram Narayan by 11,529 votes.
