Uttar Pradesh Election: Hamirpur Assembly Constituency 2022
Hamirpur is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Hamirpur district. People of Hamirpur voted for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 on February 20 and the results was declared on March 10.

In 2017, 11 candidates were contesting for Hamirpur assembly constituency seat. Hamirpur was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ashok Kumar Singh Chandel won the election by defeating Samajwadi Party's Dr. Manoj Kumar Prajapati by a margin of 48,655 votes.
The top three candidates split 93.7% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ashok Kumar Singh Chandel got a total of 1,10,888 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Dr. Manoj Kumar Prajapati secured 62,233 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Sanjeev Kumar Urf Sanjay Dixit grabbed the third spot with 60,543 votes. The top three parties got 44.5%, 25.0% and 24.3% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Bharatiya Janata Party's Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti outperformed Bahujan Samaj Party's Fateh Mohammad Khan by 7,824 votes.
