Jagdishpur is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Sultanpur district. Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Jagdishpur will be held on February 27 and the result was declared on March 10.

The top three candidates split 96.5% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Suresh Kumar got a total of 84,219 votes, while Indian National Congress's Radhey Shyam secured 67,619 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Jagdutt grabbed the third spot with 31,338 votes. The top three parties got 44.4%, 35.6% and 16.5% respectively.
