95.5% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Samajwadi Party's Ujjwal Raman Singh grabbed a total of 80,806 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Piyush Ranjan got 65,782 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Deepak Patel bagged 40,998 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 41.1%, 33.5% and 20.9% respectively.
