Uttar Pradesh Election: Kundarki Assembly Constituency 2022

Kundarki is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Moradabad district. People of Kundarki voted for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 on February 14 and the result was declared on March 10.

Kundarki assembly constituency had 3,70,241 electors in 2017, out of which 2,01,029 were male voters and 1,69,212 females. The None of the Above (NOTA) option got 0.3% votes.

What happened last time

In the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Kundarki constituency had 14 candidates for assembly seat contention. Kundarki was one of 47 seats won by the Samajwadi Party. It was a close contest with Samajwadi Party's Mohammad Rizwan winning the election upstaging Bharatiya Janata Party's Ramveer Singh by a margin of just 10,821 votes.

93.6% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Samajwadi Party's Mohammad Rizwan grabbed a total of 1,10,561 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Ramveer Singh got 99,740 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Akbar Husain bagged 36,071 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 42.0%, 37.9% and 13.7% respectively.

In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Mohammad Rizwan beat Bharatiya Janata Party's Ramveer Singh by 17,201 votes.
