Lambhua is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Sultanpur district. Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Lambhua will be held on February 27 and the result was declared on March 10.
Lambhua assembly constituency had 3,50,931 electors in 2017, out of which 1,83,340 were male voters and 1,67,591 females. The None of the Above (NOTA) option got 0.5% votes.
In the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Lambhua constituency had 13 candidates for assembly seat contention. Lambhua was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Deomani Dwivedi won the election by upstaging Bahujan Samaj Party's Vinod Singh by a margin of 12,903 votes.
96.0% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Deomani Dwivedi grabbed a total of 78,627 votes, while Bahujan Samaj Party's Vinod Singh got 65,724 votes. Samajwadi Party's candidate Santosh Pandey bagged 47,633 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 39.3%, 32.9% and 23.8% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Santosh outperformed Bahujan Samaj Party's Vinod Singh by 17,372 votes.
