98.3% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Dr.Neeraj Bora grabbed a total of 1,09,315 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Abhishek Mishr got 82,039 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Ajay Kumar Srivastava bagged 29,955 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 48.6%, 36.4% and 13.3% respectively.
