Lucknow West is the assembly constituency which comes under the Lucknow district. It is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Lucknow West was held on February 23 and the results was declared on March 10.
Lucknow West assembly constituency had 3,87,847 electors in 2017, out of which 2,10,951 were male voters and 1,76,896 females. The None of the Above (NOTA) option got 0.2% votes.
In the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election, there were 17 candidates in the fray from Lucknow West constituency. Lucknow West was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Suresh Kumar Shrivastav won the election upstaging Samajwadi Party's Mod Rehan by a margin of 13,072 votes.
96.5% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Suresh Kumar Shrivastav grabbed a total of 93,022 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Mod Rehan got 79,950 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Armaan Khan bagged 36,247 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 42.9%, 36.9% and 16.7% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Mohd Rehan outperformed Bharatiya Janata Party's Suresh Kumar Shrivastav by 7,812 votes.
