Madhaugarh is the assembly constituency which comes under the Jalaun district. It is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Madhaugarh was held on February 20 and the result was declared on March 10.

The top three candidates split 87.3% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Moolchandra Singh got a total of 1,08,737 votes, while Bahujan Samaj Party's Girish Kumar secured 62,752 votes. Indian National Congress's candidate Vinod Chaturvedi grabbed the third spot with 46,915 votes. The top three parties got 43.5%, 25.1% and 18.8% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Bahujan Samaj Party's Santram outperformed Samajwadi Party's Keshvendra Singh by 21,352 votes.
