Noida comes under the Gautam Buddha Nagar district and it is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . People of Noida voted for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 on February 10 and the result was declared on March 10.
Noida assembly constituency had 5,23,815 electors in 2017, out of which 3,01,375 were male voters and 2,22,440 females. The None of the Above (NOTA) option got 0.3% votes.
In 2017, 14 candidates were competing for Noida assembly constituency seat. Noida was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a one way contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Pankaj Singh comfortably winning the election defeating Samajwadi Party's Sunil Choudhary by a huge margin of 1,04,016 votes.
98.2% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Pankaj Singh grabbed a total of 1,62,417 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Sunil Choudhary got 58,401 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Ravikant bagged 27,365 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 64.3%, 23.1% and 10.8% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Bharatiya Janata Party's Mahesh Kumar Sharma outperformed Bahujan Samaj Party's Omdutt Sharma by 27,676 votes.
