Patiyali is the assembly constituency which comes under the Etah district. It is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Patiyali was held on February 20 and the result was declared on March 10.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2017, there were 3,28,096 registered voters for Patiyali assembly seat, out of which 1,79,257 were male and 1,48,839 were female voters. 0.5% of voters opted for for the None of the Above (NOTA) option.
In the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election, there were 12 candidates in the fray from Patiyali constituency. Patiyali was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a close contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Mamtesh winning the election upstaging Samajwadi Party's Kiran Yadav by a margin of just 3,771 votes.
The top three candidates split 92.0% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Mamtesh got a total of 72,414 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Kiran Yadav secured 68,643 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Dheerendra Bahadur Singh Chauhan "dheeru" grabbed the third spot with 44,131 votes. The top three parties got 36.0%, 34.1% and 21.9% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Najeeva Khan Zeenat outperformed Bahujan Samaj Party's Suraj Singh Shakya by 27,775 votes.
