Uttar Pradesh Election: Patti Assembly Constituency 2022
Patti is the assembly constituency which comes under the Pratapgarh district. It is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Patti will be held on February 27 and the result was declared on March 10.
Patti assembly constituency had 3,39,193 electors in 2017, out of which 1,82,395 were male voters and 1,56,798 females. The None of the Above (NOTA) option got 0.7% votes.
In 2017, 13 candidates were contesting for Patti assembly constituency seat. Patti was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was an extremely close competition, with Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajendra Pratap Singh Alias Moti narrowly winning the election defeating Samajwadi Party's Ram Singh by a vary little margin of 1,473 votes.
94.8% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajendra Pratap Singh Alias Moti grabbed a total of 75,011 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Ram Singh got 73,538 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Kunwar Shakti Singh bagged 46,427 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 36.5%, 35.8% and 22.6% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Ram Singh beat Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajendra Pratap Singh Urf Moti Singh by 156 votes.
