Bharatiya Janata Party's Ram Chandra Yadav got a total of 90,311 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Abbas Ali Zaidi Urf Rushdi Miyan secured 59,052 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Firoz Khan Urf Gabbar grabbed the third spot with 47,257 votes. The top three parties got 43.4%, 28.4% and 22.7% respectively.
