Uttar Pradesh Election: Sadabad Assembly Constituency 2022
Sadabad is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Mahamaya Nagar district. People of Sadabad voted for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 on February 20 and the results was declared on March 10.
In 2017, the Sadabad assembly seat had 3,45,367 registered voters. Of the, 1,91,753 were male and 1,53,614 were female voters. 0.3% of votes were casted for NOTA.
In 2017, 14 candidates were contesting for Sadabad assembly constituency seat. Sadabad was one of 19 seats won by the Bahujan Samaj Party. Bahujan Samaj Party's Ramveer Upadhyay won the election by defeating Rashtriya Lok Dal's Dr Anil Chaudhary by a margin of 26,610 votes.
The top three candidates split 85.3% of votes between them. Bahujan Samaj Party's Ramveer Upadhyay got a total of 91,385 votes, while Rashtriya Lok Dal's Dr Anil Chaudhary secured 64,775 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate Pritee Chaudhary grabbed the third spot with 36,134 votes. The top three parties got 40.5%, 28.7% and 16.0% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Devendra Agrawal defeated Bahujan Samaj Party's Satendra Sharma by 5,187 votes.
