Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Ranvijay grabbed the third spot with 28,152 votes. The top three parties got 47.5%, 31.5% and 17.5% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Manbodh outperformed Bharatiya Janata Party's Vijaylaxmi by 16,158 votes.
