Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Nand Lal Kori secured 11,949 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 47.6%, 43.8% and 7.8% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Haji Irfan Solanki outperformed Bharatiya Janata Party's Hanuman Swarup Mishra by 19,663 votes.
