92.7% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Suresh Kumar grabbed a total of 90,995 votes, while Bahujan Samaj Party's Abdul Waris Khan got 74,178 votes. Rashtriya Lok Dal's candidate Javed Rao bagged 31,275 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 43.0%, 35.0% and 14.8% respectively.
