Tiloi is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Rae Bareli district. People of Tiloi voted for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 on February 27 and the result was declared on March 10.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2017, there were 3,39,377 registered voters for Tiloi assembly seat, out of which 1,81,250 were male and 1,58,127 were female voters. 0.8% of voters opted for for the None of the Above (NOTA) option.
In the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Tiloi constituency had 12 candidates for assembly seat contention. Total 312 seats were won by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Tiloi was one of them. The election for Tiloi seat was comfortably won by Bharatiya Janata Party's Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh defeating Bahujan Samaj Party's Mohd. Saood by a huge margin of 44,047 votes.
95.3% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh grabbed a total of 96,119 votes, while Bahujan Samaj Party's Mohd. Saood got 52,072 votes. Indian National Congress's candidate Vinod Kumar Mishra bagged 35,837 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 49.8%, 27.0% and 18.6% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Indian National Congress's Dr. Mohd. Muslim beat Samajwadi Party's Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh by 2,710 votes.
