Tundla is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Firozabad district. Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Tundla was held on February 20 and the results was declared on March 10.
In 2017, the Tundla assembly seat had 3,49,685 registered voters. Of the, 1,90,204 were male and 1,59,481 were female voters. 0.4% of votes were casted for NOTA.
In the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election, there were 11 candidates in the fray from Tundla constituency. Tundla was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a one way contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Satya Pal Singh Baghel comfortably winning the election upstaging Bahujan Samaj Party's Rakesh Babu by a huge margin of 56,070 votes.
97.4% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Satya Pal Singh Baghel grabbed a total of 1,18,584 votes, while Bahujan Samaj Party's Rakesh Babu got 62,514 votes. Samajwadi Party's candidate Shiv Singh Chak bagged 54,888 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 49.0%, 25.8% and 22.7% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Bahujan Samaj Party's Rakesh Babu defeated Samajwadi Party's Akhlesh Kumar by 7,946 votes.
