Badrinath is one of the 70 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Chamoli district. People of Badrinath voted for Uttarakhand Assembly Election 2022 on February 14 and the results was declared on March 10.
In 2017, the Badrinath assembly seat had 1,00,897 registered voters. Of the, 52,858 were male and 48,039 were female voters. 0.7% of votes were casted for NOTA.

Bharatiya Janata Party's Mahendra Bhatt got a total of 29,676 votes, while Indian National Congress's Rajendra Singh Bhandari got 24,042 votes. Communist Party Of India's candidate Bharat Singh Kunwar grabbed 2,380 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 47.3%, 38.3% and 3.8% respectively.
