Uttarakhand election result 2022 Highlights: CM Dhami, Rawat lose their seats
Uttarakhand election results 2022 highlights: The Bharatiya Janata Party ducked anti-incumbency to form the government in the hill state for the second straight term

Uttarakhand election results 2022 highlights: The Bharatiya Janata Party, which changed its chief minister twice in the last year in an effort to shake off anti-incumbency, is set to form the government once again. Several exit polls had predicted a hung assembly in Uttarakhand with the Congress and BJP in a close fight. However, the poll outing turned out to be forgettable for few bigwigs, including chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Congress leader Harish Rawat who lost the polls
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had also thrown in its hat this time and Delhi chief minister Arvind made several visits to the hill state in an effort to emerge as the third alternative. That attempt does not appear to have been very successful.
