Renee Sen on Tuesday penned a heartfelt note for her grandmother on Instagram. She also shared a series of pictures of her family members.

Sushmita Sen's elder daughter Renee Sen shared a bunch of photos on her Instagram handle on Tuesday. Wishing her grandmother, Subhra Sen, Renee also penned a heartfelt note for her. Sharing the photos, Renee Sen wrote, “Happyyyy birthday to the best Grandma ever who we all call Nanna. You are strong, kind, forgiving and have the biggest heart! We are all so lucky to have you in our lives and I hope that this is a magical year for you. I pray that you stay healthy and happy always and continue exploring the world your style. Dugga Dugga. Ziana, Alisah, Aaliyah, Maa, Maasi, Taata, Charu Mami, Raja Mama, Nanu and I love you the most."

In the first picture, a smiling Renee kept her head on her grandmother, Subhra's hair. The next few photos featured Renee, her younger sister Alisah, Sushmita Sen, Subhra Sen, Shubeer Sen, Rajeev Sen, Charu Asopa, Ziana Sen and their other family members.

Sushmita adopted her elder daughter Renee in 2000 and later welcomed Alisah as her second adopted daughter in 2010. During an interaction at FICCI Hyderabad, Sushmita spoke about the decision to adopt the girls, she said “The wisest decision I made at the age of 24 was to become a mother. It stabilized my life. People think it was a great act of charity and wonderful action but it was self-preservation. Sushmita was last seen in the Amazon Prime series Aarya 2, in which she played the role of Aarya Sareen, a woman who takes over her dead husband's drugs business. She received the Best Actress Female award at the Filmfare OTT Awards for the first season of Aarya.
