New Diddy doc announced after arrest: Quiet on Set network spearheading project while 50 Cent's series also awaited
Months after Netflix landed 50 Cent's docuseries exploring allegations levelled against Diddy, another network has announced a brand-new project in the works.
A new docuseries mapping the fall of beleaguered artist Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs from his mogul-status reign over the rap industry is officially in the works. True crime network Investigation Discovery (ID), responsible for exposing the dark truth of children's network Nickelodeon in Quiet on Set, is helming the project.
The disturbing reality check's producer, Maxine Productions, is also ready to drop the curtain on the alleged horrors led by the Bad Boy Records founder, as cited in the recently unsealed indictment charging him with three counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, racketeering conspiracy; and transportation to engage in prostitution.
ID's press release confirmed that the yet-to-be-titled project will explore “the allegations of violent behaviour and illegal activity that have trailed the music mogul. As accounts of sexual assault, abusive behaviours and other disturbing claims surface, the doc traces the story of this self-proclaimed Bad Boy, unravelling allegations of a pattern of depravity.”

This announcement comes months after it was revealed that Netflix had won the “bidding war” for a different docuseries—now reportedly titled “Diddy Do It?”—produced by Diddy's rap game rival, Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson.
When is the new Diddy doc releasing?
The multi-part ID project is slated to premiere in 2025. Alongside the TV network, Max will release it for streaming. More details are yet to be announced,
The currently untitled Diddy documentary will open the room to alleged victims, with Rolling Stone pitching in reports. Archival footage will also add contextual depth to the narrative. The project has bridged a production partnership between Maxine Productions and IPC in association with Rolling Stone Films.
What does the indictment against Sean Combs state?
After the recent developments in the case and Combs' arrest on Monday, his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, has repeatedly denied all allegations, maintaining his client's innocence and pleading not guilty.
The federal indictment unsealed on Tuesday morning revealed all that was discovered in the aftermath of the March raids at the Revolt founder's Los Angeles and Miami pads. Officials revealed in the complaint that “various Freak Off supplies, including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant”, were found at Diddy's place. Additionally, ammunition, including three AR-15s with “defaced serial numbers” and a drum magazine were found in his possession.

Allegations dating back to 2008 claim that the ‘Bad Boy for Life’ “engaged in a persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse toward women and other individuals.” He is also believed to have relied on threatening and manipulating those who may have witnessed his alleged misdoings to “protect his reputation.”
Combs' expansive business empire is apparently also complicit in these crimes due to its purported illegal involvement in “acts of intimidation, manipulation, bribery and threats of retaliation” to ensure “absolute loyalty” from eyewitnesses.
The indictment also depicts an upsetting image of drug and sex-filled parties organised by Diddy where he would purportedly “hit, kicked, threw objects at, and dragged victims, at times, by their hair,” leaving them with injuries that “took days or weeks to heal.”
