Do second chances really exist? Does anyone really get a second chance? In a moment of almost brutal introspection I let my mind travel into areas I don’t normally venture.

Do second chances really exist? Does anyone really get a second chance? In a moment of almost brutal introspection I let my mind travel into areas I don’t normally venture. For example, a great artist may have a fallow period, when the muse may cease to inspire and, then as suddenly, a re-birth. Look at Piccaso, every period of void and despair ended with a fresh fierce burst of creativity complete with a new source of inspiration. Closer home Souza and Raza have a similar story.

I love painting, the beauty, the sheer joy of colour. While clearly nowhere in that league, possibly nowhere in their universe, I would love to paint. Suresh Kalmadi, OC chief, should by all accounts be a fervent believer in second chances. As far as the rest of us are concerned, let’s splash that canvas with our tri colour — one muse who will hopefully settle all our chakras.
