The T-20 league, a heady cocktail of cricket and glamour, has also been the centre of controversies.

Celebrity team owners, glamorous cheergirls, high-octane cricketing action, and non-stop partying — this T-20 domestic cricket league redefined the way Indians watched and played cricket. But ever since its initiation in 2008, this cricketainment event has been marred by scandals.

Be it Lalit Modi’s alleged irregularities that forced him to quit the game and the country, or Australian cricketer Luke Pomersbach’s sexual assault on an US citizen, or SRK being banned from the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai (2012), and now three players from Rajasthan Royals being arrested for spot fixing— there hasn’t been a dull season in this domestic league. Here are six top Panauties or jinx that rocked the league.

Party sharty Dope-shope...
South African speedster Wayne Parnell and Indian spinner Rahul Sharma were caught by cops at a rave party in Mumbai in May 2012. The duo tested positive, and an arrest warrant was issued against Wayne Parnell, who was later released on bail of Rs 10,000.

Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan had a scuffle with a security personnel who tried to prevent a bunch of kids, who were with Khan, from playing at the Wankhede stadium after his team KKR won a match in 2012. SRK has since been banned from the stadium, and the stands there miss his glam.

Mera Sapna Money Money
Three cricketers of the Rajasthan Royals team, Ajit Chandila, S.Sreesanth, and Ankeet Chavan are in a spot for fixing an over each during a match in this season. The trio bagged as much as R60 lakh per over from bookies, but the cops caught up with them, and they have been arrested.

Why so Gambhir?
Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli share the same dressing room when they play for the national team, but that didn’t stop the two from engaging in a heated verbal battle on the field when Virat, who heads Royal Challengers Bangalore took his time to head back to the pavilion after being dismissed by Gambhir’s KKR. We are blaming this brawl on their Dilliwali aggression.

Lukewarm trouble
Australian cricketer Luke Pomersbach, was arrested in 2012 for sexually assaulting a US Citizen of Indian origin, Zohal Hamid. However, the former RCB player was given bail for two sureties of Rs 30,000 each. Luke also sported a red tika on his forehead for his court hearing. Divine intervention to warn off the Panauti?

NO Cheer, Only fear
South African cheerleader Gabriella Pasqualotto, became an internet sensation after the 22-year-old blogged last year about how the players treated them as a ‘piece of meat’. Gabriella was put on a plane back to South Africa the very next day.
