Soundarya Rajinikanth lodges police complaint about missing SUV key
Soundarya Rajinikanth filed a police complaint at the Teynampet police station in Chennai after she lost the key of her sport utility vehicle (SUV).
Soundarya Rajinikanth, daughter of actor Rajinikanth, has filed a police complaint with regard to the missing key of her sport utility vehicle (SUV). As per report by The Hindu, Soundarya said in her complaint that she had lost the key of her Range Rover car when she used another car to travel to a function at a private college.
In March, Soundarya’s older sister Aishwarya had filed a police complaint over the theft of jewellery worth 60 sovereigns.
As per the FIR copy, Aishwarya had kept the jewellery in a locker and revealed that some of her house servants were aware of it. Teynampet Police had registered a case under Section 381 of the IPC and have started an investigation.
In her complaint, Aishwarya had revealed that she wore the jewellery for her sister Soundarya’s wedding in 2019. Since the wedding, the jewellery was kept in a locker which has been in Aishwarya’s possession.
However, over the last three years, the locker had been moved around including her ex-husband Dhanush’s apartment in 2021 and later to her apartment in the same year. Last year, it was finally shifted to her father Rajinikanth’s residence, while the keys to the locker remained in her flat.
The report further added that Aishwarya said that diamond sets, antique gold pieces, Navaratnam sets, bangles and nearly 60 sovereigns of gold worth ₹3.60 lakh have been stolen. She named her two maids and driver as suspects in her complaint. The police had arrested driver and a domestic help in connection with the case.
Soundarya is the younger daughter of Rajinikanth and his wife Latha Rajinikanth. She made her directorial debut with Kochadaiiyaan, a motion capture film, in 2014. It starred her father in a lead role with Deepika Padukone. She also directed Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 with Dhanush and Kajol in lead roles.
She got married to businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi in February 2019. They welcomed their first child, a son Veer, in 2022.
