Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, announced his new co-star in a video posted on Instagram on Wednesday. Standing with Priyanka with surf breaking behind them at a beach, Johnson said “Meet the beautiful Priyanka Chopra, the biggest star out of India, one of the biggest stars in the world.”
Welcoming our desi girl onboard the upcoming Baywatch movie, he wrote this on his Instagram along with the now-viral clip, “She’s one of the biggest stars in the world. Insanely talented, relentlessly smokin’ and extremely dangerous - perfect for #BAYWATCH. Welcome @PriyankaChopra to our bad ass and incredibly dysfunctional family. Cue RATED R slo-mo running on the beach. We start shooting next week. World.. #WelcomeToBaywatch.”

You guys, it’s Thursday and the comparisons have begun.
No, not between Priyanka and The Rock, but between PeeCee and iconic Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson.
Why, you ask? Because Pamela Anderson and Baywatch are practically synonymous. (We mean, come on, if you’re a guy who’s grown up in the 90s, Pamela was your computer screensaver and soundtrack to life. Don’t lie.)
So, you’re sitting amongst your most-trusted friends when out of nowhere someone blurts out that Pamela is all-around better than Priyanka.
The world stops, and you’re instantly pitted against a friend you don’t even recognise anymore. Wide-eyed, you’re appalled by their lack of loyalty to your fav and the girl on fire, Priyanka Chopra.
But as fans of both Pamela and Priyanka, you ask: Why are we even comparing them in the first place? They’re two sides of the same coin for goodness sake! Priyanka is the woman who’s everything right now and Pamela is the Baywatch diva every woman ever wants to be.

1. Who’s got a sexier bikini bod?
When it comes to these two, it’s all too possible they have probably the best, fittest bods out there: They look toned, trim and healthy. So, picking who’s got a sexier bikini bod is rather subjective. Along with Marilyn Monroe, Pamela has been named as having the most iconic bikini body ever. Sure, Pamela’s lifeguarding uniform, which consisted of a red swimsuit was made even more iconic in slow motion scenes of Baywatch, but Priyanka’s killer moves in Dostana too make the cut. But, excuse us Priyanka, we think need you to bow down on this one, because let’s admit it Pamela is best-known (well, arguably) for her iconic red bathing suit on Baywatch.
And the winner is...
2. Who’s got a better personal style?
For 16 years, Priyanka has climbed from misinformed style rookie to iconic fashion girl. The 33-year-old Quantico hottie sits atop a throne of fashion royalty that’s simply untouchable. You can try scouring Instagram and Pinterest for her look, but it’s no match for the talented diva’s wake-up-wear-this-and-go versatility.
Though Pamela nails it, her style just isn’t as refreshing. Stunning? Yes. But safe and predictable. Now probably isn’t a good time to mention all the wardrobe malfunctions she’s had, either.
Sorry, Pamela. Priyanka takes this cake.

3. Who’s more glam?
Both women’s resumes runneth over with beauty endorsements, everything from make-up to shampoo. And their styles seem pretty clear-cut: Priyanka rebelliously leans toward what’s ahead of its time, as Pamela dances completely on pulse.
Well Pamela’s navy might disagree with this but it’s a matter of preference, so: We choose dark and rebellious over soft and seductive.

4. Who’s giving us serious #HealthGoals?
Sure, Pamela is a Peta activist and is known for her super healthy lifestyle (Her swine-swap to vegan options has made her a diet deity) and Priyanka’s model-esque bod would put Adriana Lima to shame, but which of these baddies is actually putting in work?
As of late, Priyanka’s leading the charge on all things fitness and health. We’re so choking on jealously at Priyanka’s effortless ability to look amazing on a burger diet (See her picture eating one right before hitting the People’s Choice Awards). And we know Pamela sacrifices and busts her bum to stay slim.
At the end of the day, you want to look half as good as both of them, don’t you?
So... It’s a tie. Now, breathe deep and don’t scoff, Pamela fans.
So, what does all this mean?
Yes, it’s completely not pro-lady to compare women - after all, both Pamela and Priyanka are amazing enough to be the blueprints to your life. So, choose your adventure wisely.
But for now, Priyanka wins.
