We request you to issue immediate directions to your officials to update the website with true and accurate figures so that false news and malicious narratives can be countered immediately,” Jamesh said in a letter to EC.

“The EC data is lagging behind, they are still showing 4th or the 5th round data while 11 rounds have been counted. Our General Secretary Communications has tweeted to the Election Commission asking: Are trying to put pressure on the local administration by delaying the display and uploading of data. LIVE Election Result: In the lead-up to the Haryana assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) expelled several leaders who filed nominations as independent candidates after being denied party tickets. These rebels were expelled for six years.

Among them were:

Ranjit Singh Chautala, the former power and jail minister, who was denied a ticket from the Rania seat. He decided to run independently and is currently trailing alongside the BJP candidate Shishpal Kamboj.

Sandeep Garg, expelled after filing against CM Nayab Singh Saini in Ladwa, is also trailing.

Zile Ram Sharma, former chief parliamentary secretary, contested independently from Assand and is trailing by 7,273 votes.

Bachan Singh Arya, a former Haryana minister, contested from Safidon and trails by 23,278 votes.

Naveen Goyal, ex-BJP trade cell convenor, ran in Gurgaon and is behind by 15,702 votes.

Radha Ahlawat, contested from Meham as an Independent and is trailing by 5,927 votes.

Kehar Singh Rawat, ran from Hathin, trailing by 25,347 votes, and had accused BJP-backed goons of attacking his supporters.

Additionally, Devender Kadyan, an Independent and former BJP leader, is leading in the Ganaur seat.
