Baba Siddique death news live: A doctor from the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai has said that the NCP leader probably died before being shifted to the medical facility.

Siddique was unconscious when he was brought to the Lilavati Hospital on Saturday night, Doctors tried for almost two hours to save him, but in vain, he said.

Asked whether Baba Siddique had passed away before being brought to the hospital, one of the doctors said, “It is possible. There was no response from him when he was brought in. He was unconscious. We undertook resuscitation, but Siddique was declared dead at 11.27 pm on Saturday.”

Baba Siddique death news live: Security measures have been tightened outside Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai, where Salman Khan resides, after the murder of his friend and NCP leader Baba Siddique on Saturday night.

The Mumbai told HT that they are investigating the possible involvement of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in the murder. Lawrence Bishnoi was also allegedly involved in the attempted murder of Salman Khan, earlier this year.

The Delhi police also suspect gang involvement due to which a special investigation team will be sent to Mumbai in order to aid the investigation.

Nikam said, “The prime question is why the murder had occurred, and who had committed it. No doubt two suspects were apprehended by the mob on the spot and I learned that the third assailant ran away from the ground. But since it appears that some 10 to 15 days earlier Baba Siddiqui was given threats and therefore police had given protection to him, now I don't know whether those threats have some connection with yesterday's incident or not.”

In the statement they clarify that the names of the accused are Gurmail Baljit Singh (23 years old) from Haryana and Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap, (19 years old) from Uttar Pradesh.

The statement also said, “The case is being investigated by the Crime Branch, Mumbai. A search for the third accused is ongoing, and the investigation is being conducted from all possible angles.”

The case was registered at Nirmal Nagar Police Station under the sections 103(1), 109, 125, and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Sections 3, 25, 5, and 27 of the Arms Act, and Section 37 and section 137 of the Maharashtra Police Act.
