“Nayab Singh Saini is a good person, he did not put the state in such a situation, that was done by the one before (Congress). Nayab Singh Saini just couldn't control the damage. Haryana Election Results LIVE: The Election Commission of India on Monday lamented urban apathy among voters in Haryana, noting that electors across rural areas turned up at polling stations with greater vigour.

"The disturbing trend of urban apathy, however, continues to significantly impact overall state voter turnout, with many urban constituencies in Haryana recording turnout rates 10 per cent below the state average," the ECI observed.

Haryana Election Results 2 LIVE: Kurukshetra Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Jogpal on Monday said that a robust three-tier security cordon has been put in place to safeguard Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

“The Central Paramilitary Forces (CPF), Haryana Armed Police, local police, and the Duty Magistrate have all been appointed. Only the candidates, their counting agents, and election agents are allowed inside the counting area. No mobile phones, pens, or paper are permitted... Adequate police forces have been deployed around the counting centre and the strong rooms,” he added.
