• EOS-08 incorporates X-band data transmission with pulse shaping and Frequency Compensated Modulation (FCM).

• Its battery management system uses SSTCR-based charging and bus regulation. The TM-TC system supports CDMA and Direct PSK modes with miniaturized filters.

• The satellite benefits from indigenized solar cell fabrication, a Nano-Star Sensor, reaction wheel isolators for vibration control, and a single antenna interface for TTC and SPS applications. Enhanced thermal management is achieved with materials like AFE BGA and Kintex FPGA.

• The satellite uses miniaturized Antenna Pointing Mechanisms that rotate at 6 degrees per second with ±1 degree accuracy.

• A pyrolytic graphite sheet diffuser plate is included for its high thermal conductivity, and a hinge-based fixture reduces the Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) phase time.

Primary objectives of the EOS-08 mission:

• Test new technologies: The mission aims to test payload instruments that are compatible with the micro satellite bus and incorporate new technologies for future satellites.

• Demonstrate advanced features: It will showcase a micro satellite equipped with new mainframe technologies, including an integrated avionics package, structural panels with embedded printed circuit boards and batteries, a flexible solar panel, and a micro-Displacement Gyro Assembly (m-DGA).
