Speaking to ANI, Singh told, “There are 14 lakh daughters in Himachal Pradesh. So many of them pursued careers in fields like IAS, IFS, and sports. Kangana Ranaut is also one of them. However, she lacks any connection to Himachal's issues, understanding, or history; she has no dedication or understanding about these matters.”

Further criticizing Kangana, Singh added, “She also lacks the time and a roadmap. Having a roadmap means engaging with ministries, meeting officials, and understanding the situation. However, she plans to return to Mumbai after June 4 as her films are pending. This job isn't a 9 to5 job.”

Lok Sabha Election 2024 Live: Congress leader Jairam Ramesh expressed confidence on Thursday that the INDIA bloc would secure a "decisive mandate" in the Lok Sabha polls and might finalise its prime ministerial candidate in less than 48 hours. He emphasised that it is logical for the party with the most seats in the alliance to stake claim to its leadership.

In an interview with PTI on the final day of campaigning for the seven-phase Lok Sabha polls, the Congress general secretary expressed optimism that the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) would surpass the 272-seat mark required for a majority in the Lower House.

Ramesh also noted that when the INDIA 'janbandhan' parties secure the people's mandate, some NDA parties might consider joining the coalition. In such a scenario, the Congress high command would need to decide whether to include them in the alliance or not.

Lok Sabha Election 2024 Live: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Devendra Fadnavis, on Wednesday, mocked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's assertion that the INDIA alliance would form the government at the centre after June 4, calling it 'Mungeri Lal Ke Haseen Sapne.'

Additionally, Fadnavis expressed his confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party would secure the central government.

Addressing the media persons in Varanasi and reacting to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's claims of the INDIA bloc forming government on June 4, the BJP leader said, “When I was a child, there was a serial named 'Mungeri Lal Ke Haseen Sapne'. Like Mungeri Lal, Rahul Gandhi also has the right to dream. In his dreams, he can imagine himself as the Prime Minister of India or even the President of America. He can dream all of this till June 4, as nobody is stopping him from dreaming.”

Lok Sabha Election 2024 Live: Delhi Customs detained two individuals at the Delhi International Airport in connection with an alleged gold smuggling operation.

Customs sources indicated that one of the detainees, who identified himself as Shiv Kumar Prasad, claimed to be the Personal Assistant to Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, according to news agency ANI.

Prasad had come to the airport to receive an individual arriving from Dubai. Both were arrested when the passenger attempted to hand over approximately 500 grams of gold to Prasad.

Lok Sabha Election 2024 Live: Actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty conducted a roadshow in Kolkata on Wednesday to support Tapas Roy, the BJP candidate for the Kolkata North Lok Sabha seat.

During the roadshow, Chakraborty said, “I have almost visited every constituency. Very positive vibes towards the BJP. I am expecting good results. The rest is in the hands of God.”

In response to West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee's statement predicting a decrease in Lok Sabha seats for the BJP, he commented, “See. She is God. She can say and do anything. I can't do it. I am a humble person.”
