Mizoram Election Results 2023 LIVE updates: A report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Mizoram Election Watch revealed that 35 out of 40 sitting MLAs in Mizoram are crorepatis. Of the ruling Mizo National Front (MNF) legislators, 85% have declared assets exceeding ₹1 crore. All MLAs from Zoram People’s Movement, Indian National Congress (INC), and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) fall in the crorepati category. The wealthiest MLA is Robert Romawia Royte of MNF, with assets worth ₹44.75 crore. The average asset value for a sitting Mizoram MLA is ₹4.8 crores, with INC legislators having the highest average of ₹5.13 crore and BJP the lowest at ₹3.31 crore. Two MNF MLAs have criminal cases against them. The upcoming elections are on November 7, with counting on December 3.
