Parliament session highlights: Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha adjourned till Feb 6 amid Adani row
Parliament session 2023 highlights: Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned till 11 am today amid disruptions over the Opposition's demand for debate on public sector investments in “companies losing market value”.

The Parliament session on Friday witnessed uproar again with Opposition parties demanding an impartial investigation under the supervision of the Supreme Court or a joint parliamentary committee to probe the charges raised in the Hindenburg report against the Adani Group. Opposition members were on their feet in Lok Sabha, shouting slogans and demanding a probe into the tanking of the Adani Group scrips. In Rajya Sabha, too, opposition members demanded a discussion on the allegations levelled against Adani by the US-based report.
Both Houses have been adjourned till February 6.
Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman was set to brief BJP MPs on the Union Budget today, which was expected to be attended by all BJP Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members. However, it was pushed back as the Opposition stalled both House sessions.
The Parliament was adjourned in a similar manner yesterday due to which no discussions could be held.
