Box-office smiling with four hits!
It's celebration time for Bollywood! After drought, it's raining films. Box-office is flooded with not one, not two but four blockbusters. Parmita Uniyal explores the twitter land for more insight.
Bollywood gets into celebration mode with its fourth hit film Kaminey in recent times. After New York, Kambakkht Ishq, Love Aaj Kal, Kaminey is raking moolah at box-office despite the film's delayed release in Mumbai and Pune.
Not only has the movie got nice reviews, it has been successful in wooing the masses as well. The film releases today in Mumbai, New Mumbai and Thane. Priyanka Chopra expresses her excitement through twitter.
"Kaminey releases in Mumbai, new bombay and thane on Monday!!!! Can't wait for mumbaikars to c it!!," tweets Chopra.
Not only is the film's cast, but also the entire industry is rejoicing with the success of the film.
Dino Morea tweets, "Vishal bharadwaj is a genius filmmaker, loved his film, brought out brilliant performances. dhan ta tan :-)".
Bollywood actor Uday Chopra even goes one step ahead and urges viewers to go and watch the film.
"Kaminey was rocking!!! A film Xperience that cannot be missed..Priyanka and Shahid both have given outstanding performances-go C it," says Uday on Twitter.
Even other filmmakers like Karan Johar and Tarun Mansukhani can't hide their excitement about the film on Twitter.
Tweets Tarun Mansukhan, "On my way to watch kaminey... Quite excited... !!! See ya later kameenas.."
Karan Johar is also "looking forward to seeing kaminey!!".
That's certainly a positive signal for the film industry, in times of recession!
